Description A small-sized slender goanna. Usually grey to brown with distinct darker lines crossing the body to the tail. Maximum length 38 cm.
This species is uncommon within its preferred habitat. It is usually found underneath exfoliating bark and within hollows of mulga trees. It feeds on insects and small lizards.
