PYGMY COPPERHEAD FACTS |
Description The Pygmy Copperheads is glossy and dark coloured above with cream or grey belly. There are no obvious markings on the body. The head and snout sometimes has a copper-brown colour.
Size 80 cm
Habitat coastal dunes, s grassland, woodland. t is common but rarely seen, being unobtrusive, and hiding under leaf litter, timber, rocks
Range It is endemic to Australia and restricted to South Australia (state), particularly Kangaroo Island.
