Identification The adult Simplicia caeneusalis moth is brown with a straight white line across the margin of each forewing. There is a curved white line along the margin of each hindwing. At rest it forms an equilateral triangle shape.
Size wingspan about 3cm
Food the caterpillar feeds on dead leaves
Range Found in Asia and throughout most of Australia
