This moth in the genus Scopula was photographed during the day despite the appearance of the background. It looked all white at first glance but the lens showed up some delicate markings.

Identification This Geometrid moth belongs to the subfamily Sterrhinae, and is probably a species of Scopula. It is white with fine dark spots, delicate pattern of faint wavy lines and two larger dark spots - one on each hindwing.
