PAPUAN GRASS-YELLOW FACTS |
Identification The Papuan Grass-yellow or Three-Spot Grass Yellow butterfly has bright yellow upper wings edged with dark brown or black. The underside of the forewing has a square brown patch in the corner. It is similar in appearance to the Large Grass-yellow which has a more uneven edge separating the yellow from the dark wing border on the upper surface of the forewings.

Size length 40mm - 42mm
Range found in Asia and on Christmas Island (not found on mainland Australia).
