INSECT FACTS

Identification
The Dark Grey Flat Moth is a fairly drab coloured moth. The forewings are brownish grey with indistinct darker and paler banding and mottling. The hindwings are pale brown becoming darker towards the edge, with a darker oval patch in the middle towards the leading edge. The body is brownish. When at rest it holds its wings flat against the surface it is resting on.
