Identification The Dark Grey Flat Moth is a fairly drab coloured moth. The forewings are brownish grey with indistinct darker and paler banding and mottling. The hindwings are pale brown becoming darker towards the edge, with a darker oval patch in the middle towards the leading edge. The body is brownish. When at rest it holds its wings flat against the surface it is resting on.

Food the caterpillars feed on acacia plants (Wattles)
