AUSTRALIAN GANNET FACTS

Description
The Australian Gannet is white with buff coloured head and black flight feathers. Dark grey feet with yellow or green lines.

Size
90cm. Wingspan 1.7m

Habitat
Coastal waters

Food
dives for fish at sea

Breeding
Nest is low platform made of earth, guano, seaweed. Lays 1 blue-white egg.

Range
Around Australia and Tasmania.
